Biography
On 29th June 2009 the first ever episode of The Chase was broadcast on ITV1 and I was there to record my first victory. Over three years and 250+episodes later the show goes from strength to strength with the best ratings ITV1 daytime have seen in nearly a decade. Not bad for a simple little quiz show ..
Other Shows
Over a twenty year quiz show career I have appeared on many quizshows. In 2006 I won £32,000 on "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" and in 2009 my team The Rugby Boys won the second series of BBC4's "Only Connect".
With other shows I have gained something of a reputation as a nearly man. In 2005 my team were the runners-up on BBC1's "Sudo-Q" and I was second on Radio Four's "Brain of Britain". In 2007 I was again second on BBC1's "The People's Quiz". The winner won £200,000, I as runner-up got a hearty handshake. Occasionally a day goes by and I don't think about that
